The Army Triathlon Association (ATA) has provided a forum for training, racing and coaching to Army Athletes since 1985. As a sport, Triathlon, under its governing body’s continues to evolve to meet the demands of both elite and novice competitors. The popularity of Triathlon within the Armed Forces is evident as the ATA membership has risen to over 300 athletes placing the ATA as one of the largest Triathlon Clubs in the UK.

The ATA committee professionally deliver a season long varied race calendar, as well as host a number of formal training camps hosted by British Triathlon Federation qualified coaches that cater for all abilities.  In addition to these formal training camps, the ATA also deliver a separate, highly successful novice training camp, details for all ATA activities can be found on our various social media sites. Becoming a member of the ATA allows you to benefit from a range of excellent equipment discount offers and access to the members only social media site.

Ironman Copenhagen 2019

Marie Copenhagen took part in the Ironman Copenhagen 2019, Swim –  2.4 miles, Bike -112 miles and Run 26.2 miles.

We would like to congratulate Marie for achieving 4th Place in her age category  and 53rd overall in the Female category.

Loch Tay Middle Distance Triathlon

Aaron Gwillian took part in the British Triathlon Middle Distance at Loch Tay in the Aberfeldy Triathlon Festival 2019.

We would like to congratulate Aaron for achieving  3rd place in his Senior category, 21st out of 332 Male category and 22nd overall out of 465 competitors.
